Is there a fee for signing up with Focus on Temps ?

  • There is no charge to the applicant, we are an employer paid service

Do I have to come into the office to sign up with Focus On Temps?

  • Yes, we see by appointment only, and since you will be our employee while you are on assignment, we will need I-9 and W-4 information. We will also conduct an evaluation of your skills and knowledge for the positions that you will be assigned to. Please allow approximatly two hours of your time for paperwork and evaluations.

How do I get paid?

  • Have the supervisor at your assignment sign the time card and hand them the top copy.
  • The week ending date is the Sunday following the week worked.
  • The time card is due in the Focus office by Tuesday at 9am the week following the week worked.
  • We DO NOT accept faxed time cards.

When can I pick up my pay check?

  • Paychecks are available after Noon on Thursday each week. It may be picked up in the Focus on Temps office, or you may have it mailed to your home. Direct deposit is also available.

What do I do if I can not report to work, or become ill?

  • Call your Recruiter at Focus and we will handle it for you with the supervisor at your assignment. It is important to remember that, regardless of where you are assigned, Focus On Temps is your employer.

Do you offer any benefits?

  • Weekly pay.
  • One week vacation pay after required hours worked.
  • A Referral Program for referring another applicant or client.
  • Optional Medical Plan (employee paid).
  • Discount card for most of the "fun parks" available upon request.

How do I get in touch with you at night or on the weekend?

  • We have an answering machine available anytime we are not in the office that will take your message. It is monitored frequently so that your concerns can be handled.
